Jason McKee (he / him) is an entrepreneur in small businesses experienced in construction contracting, industrial sales, financial services, digital marketing, restaurant/food service, and newly to farming. A graduate from Lakehead University with a HBcomm, marketing focus.
Born in Treaty 7 Territory, Mohkinstis (Calgary AB) in 1983, Jason was raised in the Greater Toronto Area and moved to Thunder Bay ON at the turn of the millennia before moving back to his birth city in 2014. Building on his education and experience in academia and industry, Jason passionately continues to pursue education online. Jason has taken a keen interest in philosophy and transcendental spirituality.
In his career Jason has worked in trades & construction as an electrician apprentice, and as a general labourer. Cultivating a variety of skills and versatility for their application, Jason continues to provide occasional project service on a gig basis, and develop capacities. In between construction work Jason has bridged the gap with restaurant work, at times in the kitchen, at others as a server or delivery driver. In addition, Jason is a professional salesperson, being an authorized representative / commissioning agent for lighting products & controls, SolarPV systems & technologies of renewable resource, energy efficiency, emissions free & cleaner technologies.
In spare time Jason plays guitar and attempts other art forms occasionally as well. Raptors fan! Basketball and lacrosse background, at various times a player, coach & referee. Fan of sport & athletic competition generally. Bicycle and biking enthusiast, regular active transport participant. Gardener & Permaculture practitioner.
